Mountain Bike Suspension Servicing (Forks/Shocks)

This Listing is for 'In House' suspension servicing of Mountain Bike suspension forks & rear shocks.

I've kept the list of services simple but is by no means exhaustive. If you don't see a service you require please contact me to discuss.

A Lower Leg Service + Dust Seals includes:

• Clean fork externally
• Remove lower legs
• Clean inside lowers & clean upper legs (stanchions)
• Inspect stanchions & lower legs internally to check bushes are ok for wear
• Fit new oil soaked foam rings beneath dust seals
• Fit new greased SKF dust seals
• Inject new fluids into the lower legs for lubrication
• Install new crush washers to the foot nuts prior to installation of the lower legs

Full Service (200 hours seals service)

• Includes all of the above as well as the following
• Strip down & clean of the air spring & shaft
• Replace air spring seals
• Strip down service of Charger Damper or Motion Control damper, clean & replace seals. Top up with new suspension fluids.

Rear Shock Air Can Service (50 Hours)

• Remove air can & remove all existing air can seals.
• Clean & install new 50hr Air Can seals kit.
• Lubricate, replace air can & pressurise.

Rear Shock Full Service (200 Hours)

• Carry out all of the above with the additional following
• De pressurise internal shock body
• Detach internal compression/rebound damper from shock body & remove existing suspension fluid
• Replace shock body seals to internal floating piston & damper
• Fill with new Maxima Plush suspension fluid
• Reassemble shock & pressurise shock body & air can

Sorry but I can only perform a full service to RockShox shocks only as Fox require specific tools that only Fox service centres can purchase.

A lower leg service doesn't involve removal & inspection of the Springs (Air or Coil) or Damper units. We assume the fork is in perfect working order. The cost doesn't include for the repair of non working components within the fork. If the fork isn't working correctly we will inspect it & provide a quote for any additional work to be carried out. All new parts & components will be quoted for on a separate basis.

When you purchase a service from the menu I will contact you with the details you need to send your suspension off to us. I suggest using a Tracked delivery service between 2 - 5kg in weight.

I will return the serviced component/s via a Tracked delivery service. The cost of this is included in the service.

Turnaround time is approximately 5-7 working days.
