DT Swiss Wheels Hub Bearing Kits

This listing is for the sale of bearings to fit DT Swiss wheel hubs.

The kits listed contain:-

• Front Hubs - 2 x Cartridge Bearings
• Rear Hubs - 2 x bearings for hub shell
• Freehub Body - 2 x Bearings
• Please ensure you select the correct style of freehub for the rear hub as the bearings differ. The different styles of freehubs are:-
  

• Shimano HG - This is a standard splined freehub body for 9, 10 & 11 speed. It also suits SRAM cassettes that are 10 & 11 speed (Not XD Driver) & SRAM Eagle SX & NX 12 speed cassettes (Not Eagle GX & Above).
• SRAM XD Driver compatible (Eagle GX, X01, XX1, AXS)
• Shimano Micro Spline - All Shimano 12 speed cassettes.

All X1900, M1900, E1900 & H1900 wheels use DT's 370's series hubs & are all fitted with the same bearings. It's only the rim that differs on these wheels.

All XR1700, XM1700, EX1700 & HX1700 wheels use DT's 350's series hubs & are all fitted with the same bearings. It's only the rim that differs on these wheels.

All XRC1501, XMC1501 & EXC1501 wheels use DT's 240's series hubs & are all fitted with the same bearings. It's only the rim that differs on these wheels.

HXC1501 Wheels use DT's 240's series hubs but use different bearings to the other 240's hubs as they are a Hybrid (E-MTB specific hub).

These bearings are ideal for use in Wheel Hubs. For frame pivots we recommend using MAX Full Compliment Bearings.

Please Note: The bearings in the picture are for illustrative purposes only & are not an indication of what the bearings look like as part of the DT Swiss kits.

If you look after your frame pivots/wheel hubs & replace the bearings regularly you shouldn't need to replace your other washers & hardware. Keep everything well greased, avoid pressure washing at all costs & avoid using solvent based sprays & lubricants around your bearings, as these dissolve the grease in the bearings!!

The bearing kits are available in the following materials.

Chrome Steel (ABEC 1):- Great value for money sealed cartridge bearing. Hardened Chromium Steel balls in a steel cage with a generous grease fill.

Looked after with regular greasing & avoid pressure washers & solvent cleaners they will last well in normal off road riding conditions.

Stainless Steel (ABEC 1):- Great resistance to corrosion in harsh wet riding conditions. Grade 440C Stainless Steel balls in Stainless Steel cage & races.

Grade 440C stainless steels are high carbon steels, which attain the highest hardness, wear resistance and strength of all stainless steel grades after heat treatment. These properties make this grade suitable for applications such as valve components and ball bearings.

Very hard wearing with a high grease fill.
