Cube Bikes - Frame Pivot Bearing Kits/Tools

This listing is for the sale of frame pivot bearings fitted into Cube full suspension mountain (MTB) bike frames.

The kits contain the bearings for the frame pivots only. They do not contain any hardware such as bolts, nuts, washers, spacers. You will need to obtain these genuine items from a specific dealer for your brand of bike.

Bearings for headsets, wheels & bottom brackets are listed separately.

Looked after with regular greasing & avoid pressure washers & solvent cleaners they will last well in normal off road riding conditions.

Chrome Steel (ABEC 1):- Great value for money sealed cartridge bearing. Hardened Chromium Steel balls in a steel cage with a generous grease fill. Balls are held together in cages for faster smoother spinning applications. These bearings are not as hard wearing in frame pivot applications as MAX bearings.

MAX Full Compliment (ABEC 3):- Non caged bearings with a full row of ball bearings & high grease fill. These are capable of withstanding much higher loadings than the standard caged roller bearings above.

Compared to bearings with cages, full compliment bearings have an increased load capacity of around 40% more. This type of bearing has been specifically developed for use in mountain bike suspension pivots where there is a higher load & a lower rotation rate. The whole point of MAX Full Compliment bearings is that more balls allow for greater strength in lower rotation, high load applications.

You will these models are only available as MAX bearings as this is what the manufacturer fits OEM & recommends.

High end MTB's come fitted with MAX Full Compliment bearings as standard & are designed for hard riding.

The Stereo Headset bearings are Chromium Steel Angular Contact Bearings to fit Stereo Frames from 2013 - 2022.
