Headset Bearings

This listing is for Headset Bearings (Angular Contact Bearings - ACB) to suit different types of Integrated & Internal, Threadless Headset Systems. 

These bearings are high quality, double rubber sealed, chromium steel bearings sold individually for most modern headset systems.

Specifications:-

• Style TH-873 (Also Known As TH-823, MR122, MH-P03K) for 1 1/8" Steerer 36° Int. x 45° - 30.15mm ID x  41mm OD x 6.5mm Thickness (Cane Creek, FSA, Hope Compatible Headsets)

• Style TH-870 (Also Known As MR121, MH-P08KT) for 1 1/8" Steerer 45° x 45° - 30.5mm ID x 41.8mm OD x 8mm (Campagnolo Compatible Headsets, 'Campy' Style) Specialized Integrated Headsets

• Style MH-P16 (MR170) for 1.5" ACB for bottom of tapered headset. These fit Hope & many other brands of headset such as Specialized Integrated, FSA, Cane Creek. 45° x 45° - 40mm x 52mm x 7mm. Pair this up with a TH-873 for a Hope Tapered Headset. These are the only type of 1.5" headset bearing that I stock.

• ACB518K - 1.5" ACB for bottom of tapered headset (Common in Giant & Whyte Headsets) 40mm x 51.8mm x 8mm with Int 36° chamfer & Ext 45° chamfer

• If you're not sure of the bearing you require measure the internal & external diameter of your existing bearings & thickness & compare with the ones I have listed. Most external angles are 45° use tip below to check the internal angle. I'm afraid I only stock these 3 common types. The make of headset or bike doesn't really help as there are so many standards.
• It can be a little confusing trying to find the correct style of headset bearings for your headset. If there are no definitive markings on the side of the bearings you have removed please contact us & we will try & help you.
• Handy Tip:To measure the internal angle, 36°or 45°, place a square edged (90°) piece of paper or card into the internal recess. If both edges of the card touch the opposing surfaces with no gap the angle will be 45° if there is a gap the 36° is the size you need.
